Our 21st century village hall has been open since 5th June 2000. It provides a large main hall with a stage (The John Assheton Hall), a smaller meeting room (The Rest), domestic style kitchen, toilets with baby changing facilities, and provision for people with disabilities. The Village Hall Trust is run by a Management Committee comprised of one representative from each of the following Oaksey groups plus four elected members: Cricket Club, Football Club, Mother’s Union, Parish Council, Parochial Church Council, Playing Field Trust; Primary School, and Women’s Institute. The committee has powers to co-opt additional members should they wish. The village hall is a member of the Wiltshire Village Halls Association and details about the hall are also shown on www.wvha.org.uk
